![]() Personally I find this approach almost completely pointless, but many enjoy the convenience of having all their games directly in the vWii System Menu, and that's a totally valid thing to want. You can't launch games from the SD card using injections, so you would have to fully go into the vWii to play these. In this way you can have lots of WADs installed "simultaneously", but you'll have massive load times on the SD card games because you're essentially installing the WAD again every time you play them. The (v)Wii cannot (officially) play games directly from the SD card, so when you play an SD card game, it gets copied back over to the NAND for you to play it from there. If you install a custom IOS (cIOS) 80, you can install WADs to the vWii NAND and then copy them over to an SD card from the vWii Data Management screen. I'm just at my wit's end trying to figure this out.Ĭlick to expand. There's one other major thing that's possible. So that way I don't have to go into vWii at least?ĥ) Some other option I don't know about at all?Īny and all help is appreciated. Should I be able to do any of these options? And if so, how?ġ) Convert the WAD to an ISO or WBFS so that it can be used with TeconMoon's Injector tool to create an installable WUP? (this would be the ideal I think)Ģ) Install the WAD to regular NAND and use TeconMoon's Injector with the vWii Nand Title Launcher?ģ) Install the WAD to EmuNAND on a USB stick (which would have to be separate of my HDD, I guess) and use the vWii Nand Title Launcher for it?Ĥ) Install the WAD to NAND OR EmuNAND and use a Wii U USB Loader GX forwarder to launch the games from the USB stick? (again, would have to be separate of my HDD). I'm trying to work it out so that everything can be on one HDD if possible. Like I said, I've found a lot of information but haven't been able to piece together the whole picture. How to do the same with my WiiWare backups (or if you even can). That part I have figured out pretty good. The system code is the first letter of the four-letter title ID (the first two digits in the second section in hexadecimal notation). System codes are used to determine what type of title it is. Also used by DVDX v1-v6 and The Homebrew Channel versions 1.0.4 and earlier. ![]() I have successfully used TeconMoon's Wii U Injector tool to load up Wii and GC backups, and WUP Installer for installing them on the Wii U main menu. Used by some WiiWare / Virtual Console titles. These games and applications can only be purchased and downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel under the WiiWare section. So I'm hoping someone would be able to tie it all together for me. WiiWare is a service that allows Wii users to download games and applications specifically designed and developed for the Wii video game console made by Nintendo. I've searched every permutation of what it is I'm trying to do, and while I've found a lot of good information, I'm inexperienced enough at this that nothing has made it all "click" for me. I know the protocol is to look through the forums first, and I assure you, I have. I ask that you forgive me ahead of time if this is something that has been specifically addressed.
